A touch of tradition: Chinese cross stitch

I've always remembered seeing portraits like this when visiting relatives, either on embroidery or printed on those traditional red-rimmed mirrors.

Now, i'm gonna make my own piece using cross stitch.

We're likely to place this in the living room alongside the rest of our "中国风" items.

I've got another but haven't managed to take a clear picture of it, nor find a similar one online.

Will post the picture up again some time later...

Also, we bought a porcelain teapot with bamboo handle during our trip to Perak. Whoopie!
